The Journal of Library and Information Science Research (JLISR), published
semiannually by the Library Association of Republic of Taiwan (R.O.C.), is a leading
journal for peer-reviewed research in library and information science in Taiwan.
Bulletin of the Library Association of China, which had served as a forum for its
members since 1954, went through a structural transformation in 2005, at which time
it was also rechristened, so as to enable it to further advance research profile of LIS
research in Taiwan.
After a vigorous review process by National Science Council in Taiwan, JLISR
is indexed and abstracted in: LISA -- Library and Information Science Abstract
(ProQuest) in 2008 and included in Taiwan Social Science Index (TSSCI) in 2010, a
testament to its distinguished history and publication quality.
