隨興休閒閱讀與資訊行為研究: 兼論「遊玩」和「沈浸」概念的適用性

本研究目的在了解,處於隨興休閒狀態下的閱讀和資訊行為,以及「遊玩」和「沈浸」概念的適用性。主要探討之研究問題如下:研究對象認為的休閒定義為何?休閒的本質為何?隨興休閒資訊行為特徵為何?系統應如何支援此特徵?在隨興休閒情境下,機會性地資訊探索行為特徵為何?隨興休閒閱讀與資訊行為中,休閒的本質為何?隨興休閒閱讀與資訊行為中,承擔那種遊玩的特徵?隨興休閒閱讀與資訊行為中,沈浸的本質為何?本研究採用日誌法和深度訪談法,進行實證資料蒐集。本研究有下列研究貢獻:本研究融入「遊玩」和「沈浸」概念,有助於建構新的隨興休閒閱讀與資訊行為模式,此將是理論上的貢獻。本研究由研究對象的隨興休閒閱讀與資訊行為,可以為將來圖書資訊服務網站或系統介面設計提供指引。本研究以資訊與休閒、遊玩等偏向感性和情感相互交融概念,來解釋閱讀和資訊行為,符合社會發展趨勢。 The construction of non-work time and activities extend importance of leisure which has continued growing in today’s society. In further, serious leisure has drawn attention in library and information science (LIS). However, studies of casual leisure,especially the impact of casual leisure in people’s daily lives, reading,and information behavior are limited. This study focuses on casual leisure scenarios that are motivated by hedonistic needs rather than information needs, as people usually engage in searching behaviors for pleasure rather than finding information. To conduct research on leisure reading and information behavior, a diary study and interview will be utilized. The results of the empirical study will be used to define a model of casual-leisure information behaviors. The study will also discuss how the model of casual-leisure behaviors challenge the ways LIS professionals design information system.
